My Best Trick Ever

Hello and Happy April!

This year when I asked the kids what they wanted to do for Easter egg hunt, they unanimously agreed on an at-home egg hunt. That sounded fine to me because, one, they have had plenty of community egg hunt experience in the years past, and two, now that they are 6 and 8, scurrying for eggs with cheap candies inside seems like a wasted effort, so I happily agreed.

Haha, but since Easter fell on April Fool's Day this year, I decided to play a trick on them...
Look at Anna's excited look when she found out that all the eggs were filled with GRAPES ;)

I had them completely tricked, even Luke was mumbling something like, you made them run around for grapes?? HAHAHAAHA :)

After I hollered "April Fools!!" and laughed maniacally, they went back out again and hunted for real eggs :)

I must give myself a pat on the back. Along with quarters, chocolate eggs/candies, I bought these cute erasers and these squishy toys to stuff inside the eggs. The kids were soooo happy with all the cute stuff. Countless hours have already been played with them.
^^It takes them days to pick up toys at home, but they picked up 50+ eggs in less than a minute.^^
So that was our Egg Hunt 2018....hope yours was good too :)
