Anna's First School Performance

IMG_2260
We almost missed this annual event at Anna’s school due to Hawaii, but when I found out that the event was rained out and rescheduled, I quickly bought the outfit (luckily they still had in stock!) and hoped that Anna would be a willing performer.

The event was this past Saturday, held outdoors at the school, in the playground, under the trees, in the late afternoon. The place was full of happy families and lots of smiling children. It was really nice. Although, a bit hot.

So how did my little student do?

If you have two and half minutes, she’s the (extra) cute one in ponytail, right smacked in the middle between her teachers. Her class did so well, but I was especially proud of Anna. As you know, school hasn't always been easy.

All in all, I am just glad she enjoyed herself and had fun with it.

  1. So glad you didn't miss the celebration after all. What a cute outfit! And she did great! It always amazes me how well kids pickup "routines" and besides, no matter how many "mistakes" they make, they are still the cutest!

    1. I love the outfit too. At first I wasn't too happy about the price ($20). Much more than what I usually pay for kids clothing. But the quality is great and super cute. Now I want to shop at Hanna Andersson all the time, but again, they are too expensive for me.

  2. She better enjoy it while she still can, before all the homework and other baggage that comes along with school show up. But I'm still smiling when I think about her and her little performance. Guess it's just another one of those parenting things...

    1. Well, two more years before "real" school. Just slow down and enjoy for now.
