our herb garden!

This morning, while the weather was still cool, we freshened up our little herb garden. We added some mint, lemongrass, and basil plants, courtesy of hubs' mom. And Anna planted more cilantro seeds. Hope they all grow fast, big, and full. I just love going out there and snip whatever I need to make dinner. Bonus that hubs and his assistant does all the maintenance.

  1. I love fresh herbs and I love that they are so easy to grow and take care of! I have a kitchen herb garden. Just Basil right now, but would love cilantro and thyme soon!

  2. Great variety of herbs! But, be careful with the mint. It grows really fast and can be quite invasive. You may want to transplant it in a pot so that it doesn't grow out of control. I learned the hard way, and three years later I'm still trying to get rid of it.

    1. Thanks for the tip. I am a total newbie and didn't know that at all. So far, it seems to be under control, but I will keep an eye on it.
