baby literature

Anna and I went to Barnes and Noble and bought a few books to add to her little library today. (FYI...she was awake the entire time and behaved! The key was to make sure she was fed, cleaned, and rested before leaving the house.) I am fairly clueless when it comes to children books so I stuck with what I do know and got some Dr. Seuss board books.

Later, before I put the books away, we cuddled up in bed and read "Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?". What a fun, delightful book.

good book, Mama!
Other books we bought over the weekend: Let's Dance, Little Pookie, What's Wrong, Little Pookie?, Night-Night, Little Pookie, Opposites, Blue Hat, Greet Hat, Horns to Toes and In Between. All by Sandra Boynton. We I really like her books.

Anna's book collection is growing!

  2. How cute. She looks like she's totally into that book! I like Brown Can Moo book. Do you have good night moon? We've been reading this book since my little ones were Anna's age and the kids still like to look for that little mouse in the pages.

  5. @ Small Burst: We have Goodnight Moon as well, it was actually one of the first books we bought for her. Such a classic.
