Our little outing

...included a spit-up, gigantic ants, and soaked clothes.

But.

The sky was blue, the sun was shining, the air was delicious.

The baby touched grass for the first time. The puppies got to stretch their legs. And this Mama wore something other than her pajamas.

It was a delightful afternoon, in my book.

  2. This was a good outing, lots of lessons learned. Luckily, we had everything we needed this time around, but we're definitely going to be more prepared in the future with all sorts of supplies.

  3. Isn't it amazing how fast parenthood trains you to be prepared for ANYTHING? Better than the boyscouts, more equipped than a submarine! Hence the SIZE of those diaper bags!
We've started using a tote bag in addition to the diper bag:)
And it only gets worse, because before long, the baby starts to need toys, snacks, etc. etc.

  4. Does anyone else think it's funny that the baby is sitting by herself while Daddy is holding the dogs??;) We see where the true love is!

  6. Sounds like a beautiful day. What's better than fresh air and spending with loved ones under an endless sky? Love the little vignette photos.

  8. You have to go a long, long way before you see another picture with a couple that is so obviously in love with each other - Anna won the jackpot have you two for Mom and Dad!
