For our next trip...

Come this September, hubs and I will hop on a boat and cruise in the western Caribbean!

So so so excited!

By then, we will have gone one entire year without a vacation and I am more than ready for a little getaway. I am considering this trip a combination of "post-baby" babymoon, our 3rd wedding anniversary celebration, and my birthday present. :)

So as you can see, it's totally worth the expense! We are even splurging for a balcony cabin this time.

Now lets just hope hurricane season will magically be off-season for that one week.

154 days until I get to have uninterrupted sleeps again....yay!

    I can imagine how excited you are just thinking about it!! But how will you leave Anna?? You can't just take her food supply on vacation!:)

  2. @ Fellow milkin' mama: Fortunately, I have a healthy stash of my milk supply in the freezer! But I know I am going to miss her like crazy, though. :(

    You will miss her, but it will be totally worth it thgugh because you need to take care of yourself too and keep your sanity, and you will return to her with renewed energy.
    The last vacation I had was about in Dec.2008, 16 months ago...I need a vacation!!!

  4. That sounds like fun! I'd be shopping for vacation wear right about now. You will need a serious break come September. Heck, you probably need one now. Wait, doesn't hurricane season start in August?

    Hmmm..5 months to lose 20lbs. Given that I didn't lose an ounce the entire time before Anna showed up, I'm not sure how well I'm gonna go this round. I really need that gastric bypass stuff!
