Current Obession: Fascinators

From L to R: Duchness Headband, Honeysuckle Headband, Primrose Fascinator, Spectral Jessamine Headband, Serpentine Shimmer Headband, Rosamond Headband

Fascinators are all the rage these days. They are everywhere and I am intrigued!

What they heck are they, you ask? Well, they are basically anything you put in your hair. Barrettes, combs, headbands. They can range from simple ones with beads, to uber fancy schmancy ones with flowers and feather!

(I remember wearing plastic ones with teeth in grade school, but nothing this fashionable!)

I am not a feather accessory type of girl - I'm far too simple and just don't think I could pull it off - but I would love these cute headbands (especially the top left, but not so much the top right).

I will have to try some on the next time I am at the mall. (If they don't look too weird on me - now that I am no longer 7, maybe I can make my own?)

  1. Ooh, I didn't know that's what they were called. My sis bought me a green/teal one with a side bow from Forever 21 last month that matches my new H&M jacket. I'm not usually one to wear that stuff so I thought for sure I'd look weird/ 10 years old/ like one of the Gossip Girls, but everyone said it looked cute! Maybe I'll buy another one someday.

  2. I love these. Hair bands, fascinators...have become really popular lately. It's all very Gossip Girl (you'll know what I'm talking about if you watch the show).

  3. @ Dorkys: Forever 21 has some really cute ones and not nearly as expensive as Anthro. I will have to check them out. Thanks for the heads up!

@ Heidi: I actually don't watch Gossip Girls, but I have been told that the girls on the show "wear the best clothes" by a friend. :)

  5. You know you don't really need to wear any of those to be a "fascinator"... :)
