Spain Trip: Finally Back Home

I know I say this every time I come back from vacations, but it's so good to be back!

Our ambitious, two-cities-in-seven-days itinerary wore. us. out.

Our days were jam-packed with activities and must-see sights that, by night, we were always wiped out from walking, getting lost (and then eventually finding the way), metro-ing, and snapping pictures. We woke up feeling sore every morning and wanting to sleep in, but in the interest of time, we dragged ourselves out of the bed and forged on.

This was definitely not a relaxing vacation!

What was predicted to be sunny and in the 60s turned out to be cloudy/rainy and in the 50s. We did not get to experience the warm Mediterranean sun.

But we survived and, all in all, had a great, fulfilled trip.

Without knowing a lick of Spanish, but with maps in our hands, we explored Madrid and Barcelona inside and out. We did everything planned and more!

I have stories to share! And pictures to go with them! I can't wait to start re-capping our adventures....soon.

In the meantime, it's so good to be back! So good to be back with hubs and the pups!
